The crowds are cheering! I can barely hear myself think! After repeated requests, we’ve expanded our General Finishes line, to now include their top Milk Paint colors!
It’s not really a Milk Paint, but an acrylic paint. Apparently, the product has been around for years; well before the resurgence of real Milk Paint.
The pros: You achieve a beautiful, smooth, hard finish, without (almost) brush strokes. The only negative is that it takes longer to dry, than our Amy Howard One Step chalk base paint, which we’ll continue to stock. Hours, vs. minutes.
Next time you have a painting project, consider General Finishes. They’re the same company that makes gel stain, glazes and poly acrylic top coat…the alternative to wax.
It must be spring, because our classes are filling up faster! Our Paint Your Own Piece classes Thursday and this Saturday are full, 😘, but there’s still a couple of spots left, in our class on April 29th.
Go to https://www.thetreasuredhome.com/classes for a complete listing.
While you’re there, I hope you’ll consider joining our Medicine Cabinet Makeover seminar, with Monica Biery.
Monica is an expert in the field of essential oils, with 25 years of experience. When I’ve explored essential oils in the past, I was quickly overwhelmed, trying to understand what oil, or combination of oils, treated which issue. Monica has solved that challenge, by blending her own therapeutic oils and labeling them with the specific purpose.
Her seminar this Saturday at 11, will last approximately 90 minutes and offer natural, effective alternatives, to over the counter and prescription drugs. I promise you’ll be impressed! Please register in advance.
Last but not least,
my talented friend and local artist, Jean Lamoure, will be teaching you how to recreate this painting, Friday evening, April 21st, at 6 p.m.
We still have just a few spots left, so please join us! Bring a friend, some vino and let’s get creative! ($45)
Well, darlin’, that’s all the big news for now. We continue to be the dining table capital of the world, so if that’s on your wish list, this is the place! Just in time for Easter dinner!
