Jeffrey Bilhuber’s New Book Out This Week September 18, 2011

Jeffrey Bilhuber’s third design book, “American Style” , is due out this week.

The new book showcases twelve of his interiors, and there’s a fun interview with him in House Beautiful this month. Two favorite quotes include: “When you hire me, you hire a decorator, not a resourcer.” (In response to a woman looking for a pink lamp.) And better yet, “What you love never goes out of style.”

Here are a few of his rooms, thanks to “House Beautiful”… Enjoy!

I understand he has a thing for painted floors!

Sounds like he’s quite intense, confident and still able to poke fun at himself. My kind of guy!

Enjoy the day!

I just LOVE his choices of textiles. That drape/portiere in the photo is brilliant….I bet it is a Chelsea Textile fabric. Note those trim details…he has it all so right. I just never get tired of his brilliance.
    Hello, Amazon?

Oh this book looks awesome! I just found your blog and am so glad that I did! We moved to the Sacramento area for a little over four years and so loved it! When it was time to move back to Tennessee I wasn’t ready at all!! I try to get my husband to move back there all of the time but haven’t successfully talked him into it yet! I just did a post the other day on the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield! Boy I miss California.

Thanks for stopping by! I’d love to know the south better. I’m sure that there are some beatiful things about Tennessee too, for much less money! I’ll go check out your blog!

Marvelous work! Option kind of information which should be distributed all over the world wide web. Humiliation within the search engines like google with no for a longer period positioning this particular blog post second! Seriously over as well as stop by this site. Many thanks Is equal to)
