I think my body has finally recovered from my quickie trip to France. I slept nearly 11 hours last night and hopefully that did the trick. The old girl doesn’t bounce back, like she used to!
Was I ever surprised and grateful, that up against over sixty other antique shops, The Treasured Home was voted #2!!! The Antique Trove, one of my favorite places, was number one!
Thanks to everyone who voted and to all of our wonderful customers! If you want to check out all of the winners, go to http://Sacramento.cityvoter.com.
SACRAMENTO A-LIST – BEST OF 2016
I can’t believe it’s almost October! Our monthly Market Day, is this Sunday, from 10-3!
I’ve just finished washing and ironing all of these linens and am almost finished pricing out my treasures. I wish I could have brought more, but I love what I was able to pack up. I hope you do too! I recommend you come early, for the best selection! I’ll have the coffee on. Those of you arriving a bit later, can enjoy cream puffs and bubbly!
I’m already planning my French shopping adventure, for 2017! I’ve heard wonderful things about a husband-wife team, in Normandy, that I’ve started a conversation with. Let me know, if a shopping trip to France is in your not-too-distant future!
Next week, October 4th, Dignity Health presents it’s third annual Care Begins with Me, at the downtown Sheraton Hotel.
You’ll enjoy a buffet dinner, wine tasting, shopping and there’s always an inspirational speaker, to get you thinking about “your best life”, as Oprah would say. There is a small fee, for this women’s event. Tickets are required at the door. We’ll be there, so be sure to say hello!
Last but not least, class is back in session, at The Treasured Home!
This Saturday, October 1st, at 1:00 p.m., we’ll have our Furniture Painting – 101 class and there’s still room! Learn everything you need to know, painting this cute take-home project!
Sign up for any of our classes on-line!
Well, that’s all for now!
Untill we meet again, take care!
